Who we are

Valtair (Valtair LLC) is an AI product studio. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the controller of the personal data described in this notice.

What data we collect

When you contact us

If you submit the Discuss a product form, we collect the details you provide: your name, work email, company, role, a description of what you are building, your product stage, timeline, the capabilities you need, an estimated investment range, and any additional context.

When you book a call

If you book a call with us, the scheduling is handled by Cal.com. You provide your name, email address, and any answers to the booking questions directly to Cal.com, which sends us the booking and adds it to our calendar. The booking page is only loaded when you choose to open it.

When you subscribe to Valtair Signal

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.

Technical data

Our servers process limited technical data, such as your IP address, to keep the site secure and to prevent spam and abuse. We do not use this to build a profile of you.

When you browse the site

We use Vercel Web Analytics to collect aggregate, privacy-friendly usage data such as page views, referrers, and device type. This is cookieless and is not used to identify you.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies (for example _ga) and may process your IP address, device and browser information, and interaction data to report on site usage in aggregate; we do not use it to identify you personally. Google Analytics runs on an opt-out basis: it is on by default, and you can opt out at any time using the cookie notice, a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor, your browser settings, or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. It does not run on local or preview builds.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics, which sets analytics cookies (for example _ga) on your device. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. For additional aggregate, privacy-friendly measurement we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless. When you first visit, we show a cookie notice; analytics runs on an opt-out basis, and you can decline or opt out at any time (including via a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor). How we use your data

• To respond to your inquiry and discuss a potential engagement.
• To provide, and where relevant contract for, our services.
• To send you Valtair Signal, if you have subscribed.
• To understand aggregate site usage and improve the site.
• To keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

Our legal bases (UK and EU visitors)

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Legitimate interests: to respond to inquiries, and to run and secure our website. We balance these interests against your rights.
• Consent: to send you the newsletter. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
• Contract: where we take steps at your request before entering, or while performing, an engagement.
• Legal obligation: where we must process data to comply with the law.

Who we share it with

We share personal data with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract and only as needed:

• HubSpot, our customer relationship platform, which stores contact-form submissions.
• Cal.com, our scheduling provider, which handles call bookings and the details you give when booking.
• Resend, our email provider, which stores newsletter subscribers and sends Valtair Signal and related emails.
• Vercel, our hosting provider, which operates the website and provides privacy-friendly, cookieless web analytics.
• Google, which provides Google Analytics for aggregate site-usage measurement.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.

International transfers

Some of our providers, including HubSpot, Cal.com, Resend, Vercel, and Google, are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU-US and UK Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for more detail.

How long we keep it

As a guide, we keep contact and inquiry data for up to 24 months after our last interaction, unless a longer period is required by law or by an ongoing engagement. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. Under the UK and EU GDPR these include the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Under laws such as California's CCPA and CPRA you have rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do not sell or share it in that sense).

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@valtair.com. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor review. See our Security page for more.

Children

This website and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
